Why I built a Connecteam alternative
Connecteam is an employee-management suite — scheduling, chat, courses, forms — with time tracking inside. Running the back office of a ten-man electrical contractor, I'd have looked hard at it. Running my own tools, it's a head office for a company of one.
The tell is where your day goes: setting up jobs and schedules before hours can land on them. That's the office admin's job — I know because it was mine, and when I fell behind, the guys' hours had nowhere to go. TradesTimer needs no job set up in advance: stops are recorded first, named later.
